Here are some moments from kite making workshop together with “Aktyvus Jaunimas” association and “Lithuanian Red Cross” team. It was a perfect opportunity both for migrants and Lithuanians in Kaunas to share their cultural views!
Creation of kite consists of few basic parts. We believe that same steps can be used to promote integration between migrants and locals. For example both kites and integration need Spine in order to work. Spine from integration can be created from various opportunities provided for refugees. Thanks to our sport volunteers community we were able to provide many events for refugees in Lithuania and promote their integration. This initiative is a part of the one year project “Sports Together” Co-funded by European Union . Therefore, we are planing to implement more various sporting activities in the future.
