Here are some moments from active “Hike in Vilnius” together with our refugee volunteers and Pavilniai Regional Park team. On the first rainy Saturday of September we gathered with locals and migrants to learn more about Lithuanian nature. Moreover, during the hike participants had a chance to learn about Lithuanian mushrooms and few picking methods.
In succession of the hike held in Vilnius, we seek to teach more migrants about Lithuanian culture, nature, traditions and promote integration through various activities. We expect that together with refugees and various sport clubs we will organise all sorts of sports events, which will help refugees in Lithuania to expand their social networks. This is a part of the one year project “Sports Together” Co-funded by European Union. Therefore, we are planing to implement more various sporting activities in the future.
