We had fun learning how to play field hockey together with professional sport community Žolės riedulio klubas „Žuvėdra“ and refugees in Lithuania. Scroll down to see our happy faces! Huge thanks to the whole „Žuvėdra“ team and especially to our trainer Ugnė Chmeliauskaitė, who made sure that our evening was not only active and entertaining but a chance to make new social connections as well.
Our volunteers team sincerely believe that it is important to make the newcomers feel welcome in Lithuania. And playing sports is a perfect possibility for that. Stay tuned to see what else we have planned for this month. Hint: there may be some good news for the football and table tennis enthusiasts 
This initiative is a part of the one year project “Sports Together” Co-funded by European Union . Therefore, we are planing to implement more various sporting activities in the future.
